What is all this?

Basicly this page is my addresscard, a way to keep my contact information in one place for friends to check. I'll try to keep it always valid.

So if you feel like you're my friend, remember to check here for up to date contact info.

So, what else is there?

Well, this page uses microformats to describe the data in a machine readable form. There's a planned support for microformats in Firefox 3. Furthermore, multiple systems are being built to take advantage of this system. For an example, you can install a browser addon to detect and handle microformats on a page. If you do not wish to install addons, you can simply download my automatically generated vcard for your addressbook pleasure.

I have also linked my address to proper location on google maps and set the phone number to work as a link to skype phonecall.

Oh, and I also use this page as a placeholder to my OpenID login, so that I do not have to remember too many passwords on sites that support it. So when ever I want to login to such site, I simply give this url and it will login me automatically.

My avatar is hosted on a great service called Gravatar, so that all the web software that support it can use it easily and I can change it when ever I feel like it. I'm also using it as my site favicon, so that it changes at the same time. You should be able to see the favicon if you use a good browser that supports png favicons.

Also, since I'm supposed to be a web professional, this page should validate nicely.

But something is missing?

Yes, I could have added bunch of more information here to make it even more usable. Things like my skype, msn, yahoo, gtalk, jabber, icq, irc accounts would have been a great addition. Also I could have added my birthdate, friend details and such. The problem with this however is that since this is a public web page, and higly machine readable, it would have opened me and my friends to even more automated spam abuse. And I surely do not want that.

So, I figured that if you truly are my friend, this information should be enough for you to ask me all the remaining information personally.
